Hi, I'm Steph Zapata.I'm a nationally recognized sexuality educator, speaker, community builder, and creator of Sapphic City and the S.L.A.M. Conference.My work focuses on sexuality, pleasure, consent, kink, queer community, and the role sexual literacy plays in personal and collective liberation.

The S.L.A.M. Conference is a sexuality education and social justice conference that centers the experiences, leadership, and scholarship of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color while welcoming attendees of all backgrounds. Bringing together educators, clinicians, advocates, artists, researchers, and community leaders, S.L.A.M. explores sexuality as a pathway to healing, liberation, cultural transformation, and collective care.Through workshops, panels, storytelling, and community dialogue, participants engage critical conversations about pleasure, consent, identity, relationships, and sexual well-being through intersectional, culturally responsive, and justice-oriented frameworks.

Coaching: Pleasure, Relationships &
Personal ExplorationLife doesn't come with a manual, and neither do relationships, intimacy, communication, or personal transformation. Through coaching and consulting, I support individuals, couples, and professionals as they navigate desire, boundaries, confidence, power dynamics, relationships, leadership, and the messy, beautiful process of becoming more fully themselves.Sometimes that means helping someone step into their confidence as a Dominant, submissive, brat, or kink practitioner. Sometimes it means helping partners deepen intimacy, strengthen communication, or navigate changing relationship structures. Other times, it means working with educators, clinicians, and service providers to better understand kink, BDSM, consensual power exchange, non-monogamy, and LGBTQIA+ communities so they can support the people they serve with greater competence, confidence, and care.Rooted in curiosity, compassion, and accountability, this work creates space for deeper self-awareness, more meaningful connection, and lives that feel more aligned with our values.
